FedEx Reverses Course, Cuts Ties with the NRA

FedEx announced on Tuesday it is cutting ties with the NRA effective November 4.

This is a 180-degree shift from the company’s position just months ago.

Following the February 14, 2018, Parkland shooting, when cutting ties with the NRA was nearly in vogue, FedEx stood against the stream and said it would maintain its relationship with the NRA. It also said that the company supports the “constitutional right of citizens to own firearms.”

Now Reuters reports FedEx is days away from officially ending its relationship with the NRA. This marks an end to FedEx’s “program that offers discounts for business members of the National Rifle Association.”
