Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), along with several other Democrats, has placed gun control at the top of their list of issues to tackle in 2019 — but Dana Loesch and the National Rifle Association aren’t going to let that slide.
In her press conference announcing her bid for Speaker of the House, Pelosi stated:
“The American people deserve real action to end the daily epidemic of gun violence that is stealing the lives of our children on campuses, in places of worship and on our streets.”
Although polling from Fox News and the Associated Press found that 61 percent of Americans want stricter gun laws, NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch told Fox News that more gun control laws aren’t actually what Americans want.
