TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) -- Thousands of people are enjoying Gathering Place, but a few have been escorted out of the park for carrying guns, some even banned from going back.
The gun owners who were kicked off said they believe it's lawful for them to carry since the land is owned by the City.
However, Gathering Place officials said they don't want to mix guns with the park.
Michael Boesker and Richard Hubbard said they carry their guns everywhere and Gathering Place was going to be no different.
"I carry everywhere I go, I don't do it for anyone else besides myself and my family," said Hubbard.
Once they step foot inside the park, their right to carry goes away.
