Hong Kong police pepper-spray a pregnant woman before tackling her to the ground in front of a screaming crowd as anti-government chaos continues to spiral

Hong Kong riot police have been caught on camera repeatedly pepper-spraying a woman believed to be pregnant before tackling her to the ground as the city continues to be rocked by violence.

The shocking video clip, shared by leading activist Joshua Wong on Twitter, purports to show around a dozen heavily armed officers gathering around the mother-to-be who has an obvious baby bump during a quarrel.

One cop is seen lifting a can of pepper spray all of sudden and firing it straight into the woman's face.

The woman then turns away in agony, but continues to argue with the said office, and at one point tries to hit him, according to the clip which remains unverified.
