Nosler Introduces the M48 NCH Bolt-Action Handgun

Nosler has just released a new bolt action handgun called M48 NCH (Nosler Custom Handgun). This firearm was designed from the ground up by Nosler engineers with the help of some of the most successful handgun hunters. Having the overall layout of the iconic Remington XP-100, where the grip is located in front of the action, this handgun is designed to be a well-balanced precision hunting tool.



The M48 NCH is based on the Nosler Model 48 short action rifle. It is a single-shot firearm and has a solid-bottom receiver. This gun utilizes an aluminum stock which is CNC machined out of a billet 6061-T6 aluminum. The pistol grip is AR-15 compatible. The gun comes standard with a black Hogue OverMolded rubber grip.



This handgun is available in one of the following calibers: .22 Nosler, .24 Nosler, 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmoor, 7mm-08 Remington and .308 Winchester. If this firearm gains popularity among the hunters and competition shooters, then I think it will quickly become a host for custom builds chambered in wildcat calibers that avid hunters and competition shooters praise so much (e.g. Ackley Improved family of cartridges).
