Police say 43 people were hurt in 32 shooting incidents across the city during a violent stretch from Friday through Saturday.
That’s a dramatic increase as compared to the same weekend in 2019, when four shooting incidents occurred in the same amount of time.
Meanwhile, police say two more people were killed overnight in New York City.
Citizen App video shows the scene near Parkside and Ocean Avenues in Flatbush, Brooklyn, where police say a 47-year-old man was shot twice in the head around 2 A.M. Sunday morning.
