Last week the state Assembly addressed that question.
That led to an interesting exchange between Assemblymen Briana Bergen and Joe Danielsen in a committee hearing on Thursday. Both are Army veterans and thus familiar with firearms. Bergen is a Republican and Danielsen is a Democrat. Each advanced his party’s position on gun control.
To that end, Bergen raised the following question on the bill sponsored by Danielsen up for debate. It widens the right to carry a concealed weapon, as ordered by the high court, but creates a four-page list of locations that are off-limits.
